“Prior to earning her master’s degree in physiotherapy from McMaster University, Mackenzie completed her master’s degree in professional Kinesiology and bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Brock University. There she worked as a student trainer on-field and as a student sport performance coach off field with a variety of varsity teams. Following her degrees she spent time working as a kinesiologist in British Columbia focusing in on her passions for concussion rehabilitation and women’s health while working sideline with rugby teams.
Working with many teams and playing varsity women’s football herself, she has had the chance to find what drives her. Mackenzie prioritizes the ideology that rehabilitation involves not just the physical, but also the emotional and mental sides of healing. She is committed to developing person-centered treatment plans that support long term performance and wellbeing.
During her work at the Guelph Women’s Health Clinic, Mackenzie is looking forward to learning from the incredible health performance team and embodying what it means to be a part of the Guelph Community.”

Melissa is a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor and a Franklin Method® Educator with a strong foundation in science and education. Her approach is rooted in curiosity, always seeking to understand how the body moves and functions. A significant back injury postpartum led her to Pilates—not just as a tool for recovery but as a way to rethink how she moved, cared for, and listened to her body. This sparked a lifelong pursuit of learning, blending movement principles with practical application.
Melissa takes a student-centered approach, recognizing that each individual brings a unique movement history and learning style. She helps clients develop greater ease, efficiency, and confidence in their movement through exploration and education.
Her goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to move well—whether for rehabilitation, performance, or everyday function. By fostering curiosity and encouraging self-discovery, she helps clients build strength, resilience, and a deeper connection to their bodies.
Outside the studio, Melissa loves spending time with her partner and two amazing kiddos. She finds joy in live theatre, music, and meaningful conversations—whether at a concert, on a walk-and-talk, or over a great cup of coffee. Whenever she can, she escapes to the shores of Lake Huron, where she’s happiest dividing her time between splashing in the water and unwinding with a good book.

Prior to earning her MSc. PT from the University of Toronto, Lisa completed an BSc. Honours in Biological Science with a concentration in French Studies from the University of Guelph. She has a passion for sports and sport rehab, given her experience as a captain of the Guelph Gryphons Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team and playing for the Varsity Blues Women’s Volleyball team during her master’s. Lisa’s interest in physical therapy started with seeing the impact it can have on others, especially on the life of my grandmother during her stroke rehab. She truly knew she wanted to be a physiotherapist once she understood how well the dynamic profession aligned with her passion for anatomy and physiology, and her longstanding commitment to improving equality for all in recreation and sports.
